So what's going on? Nothin much just tryin to get used to my new KTM.
How long have you been riding? Since I was 4 but doin freestyle since I was 17.
When did you turn pro? When I was 17.
What made you decide to concentrate on FMX? When I realized how much more fun it was to jump and have fun with friends rather than worrying about that stress of racing and having people land on you or you landing on them, I would rather just go out and have fun on my motorcycle and ride with all my friends.
How long have you been riding FMX? Since may 2000.
How would you describe your style? I just like to go out and be myself and have fun on my dirt bike.
Ramps, or natural hits? I like me both because the ramps are smooth every time you hit me they are the same and I like the dirt cause it shows how much skill you really have.
What advice would you give someone wanting to progress their riding? Practice, be careful, don't be stupid and try to impress people just to do it, if you don't feel comfortable then don't even worry about it ands have as much fun as you can.
What do you think about competitions? I like me but the more ass you kiss the better your gonna do, that's exactly how it is with every judge at every contest. I go out and have fun for the crowd.
How has being located in Southern California influenced your riding? I live in Beaumont and my back yard is the hills in Beaumont and that's all that's out here so that's all I've ever done since I was a little kid.
Who are some of the people you consider are taking FMX to the next Level? Metzger and Pastrana because they are the most innovative in this sport and neither one of them know when to quit so I look up to both of them.
What motivates you to ride your bike? I want to be one of the top riders and the last couple of years ive had bad luck and now im just starting to get going good and that motivates me to ride all the time to get better because the more I'm riding the more comfortable I am and the least likely ill be to wreck.
Are you carrying any metal around with you? I have two plates in my arm, rods in each both legs, plates on each leg and an L shaped plate on my left knee.
What do you do when you're not riding? I pretty much hang out with friends or my girlfriend, like I said I don't really party or anything so I'll go out to eat and catch a movie or something.
Favorite day of the week? Any day I can ride is my favorite day.
Final words? I would like to thank my family who supported me through the years of me wrecking and still wanting supporting me when I ride, my mom and dad for always being there for me, my uncle for helping me out financially when I couldn't do it myself, my brother Jamey and his wife Rita for pushing me all the time , Pamona Valley Kawasaki for helping me out with a bike to ride and SCUFT.COM for helping me out as much as they can.
