So what's going on? I’ve been staying in the San Diego area and spending a lot of time at Evolution Training Grounds. I’ve been working with MXF (MotoXFundamentals) riding schools. MXF has helped me in originating new tricks while maintaining a certain level of safety. It is the most in depth training for FMX that I’ve ever done. This summer I’ll be on the road riding demos & contests. In between stops I’ll be working on a back flip. Stay tuned! Listed below is a my schedule:
How long have you been riding?  20 years.
When did you turn pro?  1996
What made you decide to concentrate on FMX? Self Expression.
How long have you been riding FMX? 1 year.
How would you describe your style?  Aggressive.
Ramps, or natural hits? Ramps give you that consistent pop you need to execute huge tricks. But I like to hit a combination of the two.
What advice would you give someone wanting to progress their riding?  It’s mind over matter. Never give up! And, If you’re extremely serious then go to a FMX riding school.
What do you think about competitions? I prefer to ride demos. However, I’m a former racer so I can appreciate a good competition.
How has being located in San Diego influenced your riding? Being around people that are all as wide open into freestyle as me! I have had several video opportunities as well as some new sponsors. I love it here!
Who are some of the people you consider are taking FMX to the next Level? Evolution Freestyle Ramps for giving people a place and a chance to evolve with their tricks. Mike Metzger with his 80’ back flip. Tyler King for his new trick originality. Nate Adams with his huge extensions. I also give credit to the X-games and the Gravity Games for taking FMX to the mainstream media.
What motivates you to ride? Progression.
Are you carrying any metal around with you? Metal? Yeah, I broke my arm 5 times and have 2 plates, 10 screws, and 3 pins. I broke my foot, I dislocated both shoulders, I dislocated my elbow, I broke my nose, I had 3rd degree burns on my back from a rear tire burn out, And broke my collar bone.
What do you do when you're not riding? Right now I’m working on several entrepreneurial projects including things like Clothing, Video productions, Acting, Music, Ramp building, & Jump tours to name a few. I also like to spend time at the beach alone just thinking.
What's your favorite day of the week? Each day is better than the last. I live everyday like it’s my last because one day it will be.
Final words? Want some get some bad enough take some! I would like to think everyone who has been behind me from the beginning. I love you all. Piece Out.
